Our ferry trip to the drive in movie theater...

Rhayna has been begging to go to a drive in movie theater ever since we explained the concept so yesterday we decided we'd go. There's one closer (not ferry worthy) to our home but it was playing the kid-appropriate movie second and I wasn't interested in keeping Rhayna up until 1030 pm just to START a movie then (poor planning on the theater's part in my opinion).

So, we decided to make an adventure of it. The other theater was in Bremerton, across the Puget Sound from where we live. The ferry, while expensive (22.50 to be exact!), is a fun adventure for Rhayna. She's never been on one and we thought it beat locking everyone up in the car for 1.5 hours each way just for an 86 minute long movie.

She loved it, wanted to discover and explore all of the levels of the gallies and really was facinated by the process (loading, embarking, unloading, etc).

Here are some pictures from our adventure:

Let's start this business over....

Yes, over 3 years later, I'm going to attempt to blog again. A place for people who want to see what we're up to can come and get a glimpse of our life.

Rhayna is now officially a whole kid. She's 3.25 years old. She's very tall with hair down to her butt (and we've already cut off 5"!). She's enjoying preschool, loves to create plays (sounds like someone I know *wink*), has a wickedly hilarious sense of humor, and is so loving and kind to her little sister and a great friend.

Roslyn, born 3-3-11, has mastered rolling and tummy scooting all around the floor. She loves to jump in her jumper toy and giggle tons with her big sister. They're already the very best of friends.

Our lives are overflowing with joy, love, excitement and peace.

Roslyn giggling away with mama (I'm saying "don't you make that C-shape" because she likes to c-shape her way out of seats if not buckled in....she's a gal on the move!):

Some sisterly love:
